    Associate Professor David Orchard

    Associate Professor David Orchard is the principal of the practice. He completed FACD in Victoria in 1998. He then completed a Fellowship of Paediatric Dermatology in Denver, USA in 2000. David is currently the Head of the Dermatology Department at the Royal Children's Hospital, specialising in paediatric dermatology. Specific interests include eczema, allergy testing, vascular birthmarks, laser therapy and Genodermatoses.

    Dr Shally Gupta

    Dr Shally Gupta has been working at Barker’s Road Dermatology since April 2011. Shally became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists in 2011, having trained at St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne, Royal Melbourne Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute and Skin and Cancer Foundation Victoria. Dr Gupta is a general dermatologist with a special interest in vulval disorders. She has public appointments as Visiting Specialist Dermatologist at Northern Hospital, Royal Women's Hospital and Austin Hospital.

    Dr Susan Robertson

    Dr Susan Robertson is a Specialist Dermatologist and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists who has been in practice since 2011.  She competed a fellowship in her special interest areas of paediatric dermatology and genetic skin diseases based at the prestigious St John's Institute of Dermatology and the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children in London.
    Dr Robertson has expertise in both adult and paediatric dermatology and is a visiting consultant dermatologist at the Royal Children's Hospital, The Royal Melbourne Hospital and Monash Medical Centre public hospitals where she is actively involved in clinical research activities and teaching.

    Dr Lena Ly

    Dr Lena Ly is an Australian trained specialist dermatologist who holds a Fellowship title with the Australasian College of Dermatologists (FACD).

    Dr Ly completed her medical degree at Melbourne University in 2005 and has over 10 years of experience in the field.  She has trained in all our major Victorian hospitals and also internationally at the renowned St Georges Hospital, London.  Dr Ly currently is a consultant dermatologist at Eastern Health, Monash Medical Centre and The Skin and Cancer Foundation.

    Dr Ly has a wide range on interests including skin cancer diagnosis and management (including surgical and non-surgical treatments), and adult and paediatric skin, hair and nail disorders and contact allergy.  Dr Ly is committed to providing a holistic and individualised approach in the care of her patients.

    Dr Niyati Sharma

    Dr Niyati Sharma is a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists and consultant dermatologist at the Alfred Hospital, Box Hill hospital, Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital and the Skin and Cancer Foundation. As part of her training, Dr Sharma spent a year working at the National Skin Institute in Singapore, gaining added experience in Asian skin diseases.

    Dr Sharma was awarded an Eddington Scholarship, which enabled her to travel to St Johns Institute of Dermatology, UK a world-renowned paediatric dermatology centre. Dr Sharma is a published author in international dermatology literature including the Australasian Journal of Dermatology and has presented her research at dermatological conferences. She is also part of the expert group panel for the recent Dermatology Therapeutic Guidelines.

    Dr Sharma is involved in the education of dermatology trainees and currently providing mentorship to dermatology registrars and residents. Dr Sharma enjoys all aspects of general adult and paediatric dermatology.
